Hydroelectric plant of Cahora Bassa SARL 

Project for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of two ± 533 kV HVDC parallel overhead power lines called ”Songo-Apollo” for a total length of 1,800 km.
This project, considered one of the most important in the world, in addition to the normal construction activities, included deforestation and demining of the areas surrounding the lines.
The supervision of the works was carried out by Trans-Africa Projects (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
